The VESDA-E VEP smoke detector series offers the latest and most advanced detection technology to provide very early warnings along with a high level of annoying alarm rejection. Based on advanced detection technology and many years of application experience, VEP detectors provide consistent performance with absolute calibration throughout its lifetime.
Flair is the new detection chamber that forms the core of VESDA-E VEP, offering better detection, less annoying alarms, greater stability, longer life and particle characterization. Direct viewing of the sampled samples using a CMOS imager coupled with multiple photo diodes provides much more data to obtain usable information about the particles observed by the analysis.
The VESDA-E VES is similar to VESDA's flagship E VEP air extraction smoke detector, but also includes a valve mechanism in the inlet manifold and software that controls the flow of air from the pipes. The unique VESDA VLI product of Xtralis is the first air extraction very sensitive smoke detector designed specifically for use in industrial applications. Suitable for applications up to 2000 square meters, the VLI has a ruggedized industrial enclosure along with other VESDA superior features. Featuring a patented, long-lasting, automatic air flow regulation against pollution and a never-blocked filter, VLI raises standards in the protection of industrial facilities. VESDA VLI detectors provide long detector life and predict maintenance requirements beforehand without being affected by dusty environments, which are common in industrial applications.
LaserPLUS is the first and most used member of the VESDA family where laser sensing technology is applied. The detector basically consists of 4 pipe inlets, extractor aspirator, cartridge filter, laser detection cell, electronic control equipment and integrated relay interface circuit. VESDA LaserPLUS detectors can detect up to 2000m² with a total of 200m piping for 4 pipes. Indicator / control units used to show the measured smoke level and perform basic control operations and the units used to program the detectors can be mounted on the detector or control centers by connecting them optionally via communication lines. VESDA detectors can be easily integrated into addressable fire alarm systems via 7 separate relay outputs as standard.
The LaserSCANNER has similar capacity and features to the VESDA LaserPLUS detector, in addition, it has the ability to distinguish and identify the pipe where the smoke originating from the fire comes from. In this way, it is possible to detect fire from 4 separate fire zones by using a single detector and to give a fire alarm independently of each other. In the case of the smallest amount of smoke being detected, the detector gives a pre-warning alarm and starts scanning the sampling pipes sequentially to distinguish which pipe it is coming from. When the incoming pipe where the smoke is coming from is detected, that pipe is constantly monitored and the development of the fire is followed. In these detectors, if an output is required on the basis of fire zone, there are also models with 12 relay outputs instead of 7 to transfer more detailed information to the fire alarm system.
LaserCOMPACT is one of the two products of the VESDA family with a single pipe inlet. Specially designed for small volume spaces, small volume archives including process machines / cabinets, electrical and electronic panels, data processing centers, suspended ceilings / raised floors interiors, etc. It provides an easy-to-use and economical solution to protect the spaces. LaserCOMPACT detectors can detect up to 800m² by installing 80m of piping on a single pipe. There are 5 LED indicators on the LaserCOMPACT detector, Fire, Pre-Alarm / Warning, General Malfunction, Reset / Isolated. Both of the models available have 3 programmable relay outputs and a general purpose programmable input. The VLC505 model is network compatible and can be integrated into networks created with other VESDA detectors and provides programming, monitoring and control over the network.
