Usage areas.
Cable type temperature detectors can work with 2 different application types.
Cable type sensors can be connected to the interface exchange. Integration to the fire system can also be made via the interface switchboard. In long distance sensor applications, monitoring and control over the interface switchboard is the most preferred solution for easy detection of the fire place.
Cable type sensor can be directly connected to the fire alarm system via the address and zone module. (Without using an interface switchboard) It is the preferred solution for short range sensor applications.

ProReact Digital Interface Monitoring Module, which belongs to Thermocable's world-leading digital linear heat detection technologies family, works with ProReact Digital Linear Heat Detection Cable and is designed to perform effective monitoring up to two zones with a cable capacity of 2x1000 meters.
The Digital Interface Monitoring Module is certified to UL864 10th edition standard, the latest revision of the UL standard for fire alarm control panels and accessories.
The Digital Interface Monitoring Module simultaneously monitors two zones of the Digital LHD cable for an alarm or fault condition. If an overheating or fire condition triggers any zone of the Digital LHD cable, the Module automatically calculates and displays the distance along the cable in feet and meters to the alarm point. To eliminate the possibility of false alarms, the two zones can operate independently of each other or in lockout / collision detection mode.
The Digital Interface Monitoring Module has one RS-485 Modbus RTU output. In this way, direct connection to SCADA or other systems via Modbus is possible.
The integrity of the system is supervised at more than one level. All malfunction events such as Linear Heat Detection cable breakage, ground fault in lines, power failure of the module or microprocessor failure are monitored and can be transferred to the fire system or scada as output.
